Mr. Kimbrough is the band director at Enka Middle School and Enka Intermediate School. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in music education from Western Carolina University and has always had a love for music. His passion and desire to teach started when he was in seventh grade band where he was inspired by his teacher at Dodgen Middle School in Marietta, GA.

As a student at Western Carolina University he was an active leader in the concert band, jazz band, marching band, and chamber ensembles. After graduating from WCU, he taught for three years in Haywood County.
